Instructions for Authors – Business Economics for Applied Research Journal

The journal publishes original and applied research written in Arabic and English, as well as specialized studies and scientific abstracts in administrative and accounting sciences, including: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, Public Administration, Management Information Systems, and Statistical Applications.

Publication Requirements:

  1. Research must be original and not previously published or submitted elsewhere. Authors must provide a written declaration confirming this.

  2. Adherence to academic writing standards and precise scientific language.

  3. Research must comply with the journal’s aims and scope.

  4. Allowed plagiarism rate is no more than 20% overall and no more than 5% per single source.

  5. Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the journal’s online system.

Publication Procedures:

  • Manuscripts are first screened for compliance with journal requirements.

  • Accepted manuscripts are sent to at least two reviewers in the relevant field. If opinions conflict, a third reviewer will be consulted.

  • Authors will be informed of the results and required to make necessary revisions.

  • Articles are published in the order of acceptance.

Technical Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstracts should be provided in both Arabic and English and must not exceed 200 words.

  • Manuscripts must include at least three keywords.

  • Authors must follow the journal’s formatting template.

  • References must be cited according to the journal’s style guide.

  • Authors must follow technical printing specifications (margins, font size, tables, and figures format).

Fees:

  • An amount of (140,000) Iraqi Dinars is to be paid upon the evaluation of the research, provided that the number of pages does not exceed (20) A4 pages. An additional fee of (10,000) Iraqi Dinars will be charged for each page exceeding (20) pages, provided that the total does not exceed (25) pages in any case.

  • The Journal of Business Economics for Applied Research does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) for authors from outside Iraq.
