Abstract

The current research aims to analyze the extent to which the efficiency of financial institutions affects their ability to face digital challenges. The research followed a quantitative approach to analyze the efficiency of the Middle East Bank in facing digital challenges, where a scientific questionnaire was designed and distributed to 47 employees in the financial, accounting and auditing departments, and 42 valid questionnaires were retrieved for analysis. The results were analyzed using SPSS V26. The research concluded that digital challenges represent a decisive factor that directly affects the efficiency of financial institutions, which requires continuous adaptation and development strategies. The research recommended the necessity of adopting integrated digital strategies that enhance the efficiency of financial institutions and help them face digital challenges with flexibility and effectiveness. The research also recommended the development of specialized training and qualification programs for employees to raise their skills in dealing with modern financial technologies and reduce the digital gap.
